I, Robot Book Report

I, Robot is a story filled with multiple different shorts taking place as we watch robots develop and grow.The story mainly focuses on the 3 laws of robotics that the story holds and how they affect different robot’s behaviors as they grow. We mainly see the story through either the field testers, Greg Donovan and Mike Powell, or the Robo-Psychologist, Dr. Susan Calvin. The story starts off when robots were simple companions or workers without speech. From that point in time, we watch as they grow and advance to the point where they control the economy and pretty much the whole world.

As for what can be taken away from this story, there is a rather large amount. It probably wasn’t present when the story was written, but today we can see that we are already starting to let technology take over us. People are constantly updating statuses, blogs, and other things from our phones, computers, and pretty much any way that we can connect to technology.
